"Wonderful Years"
Gabriel Davey
28/08/19 – 14/09/19

Opened Wednesday 28th August at 5.30pm.

Please join us for the opening of “Wonderful Years”, an exhibition that explores the rhythm, form, and narrative of both found and created photographs. Developing from the discovery of seven anonymous slide albums, new snapshot photography builds a parallel story to that of the archive, exploring the photographic event as a trace of the past, hard 'evidence' of a person or moment, revealing less than is seen. Leading us on by deduction, we investigate the visibility of public and private lives; the shabby anonymity in meeting places of collective living, and the interstices between the closed compartments of a centreless city.
