I hand wrote my first manifesto this year after an important friend of mine advocated the significance of understanding ourselves and our true desires before entering anything new - more and more I am understanding why they are so right.
Manifesto in 45 (Attempt 1) is a chance for me to take some space. A 45 minute improvised attempt to embody my connection to dance, it’s influence on my life and why I believe in it. This work is also an opportunity for me to challenge the “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” mentality of life, myself and dance - cause sweetie we are all tired.
I feel very grateful for this space to play with Manifesto in 45 (Attempt 1).
