It Flew Into Our Window at Night
Polly Wiseman & Finnian Watkinson
27/02/19 - 16/03/19

Opened Wednesday 27th February at 5:30pm.

It Flew Into Our Window at Night is an exhibition of collaborative work by Polly Wiseman and Finn Watkinson. Collectively, they respond to concepts of ritual and self-care, exploring their inherent parallels to one another. Periods of rest and reflection were taken to make each of these works -- a break from routines to explore unfamiliar roads, to return home, to reach a quiet place. The exhibition comprises of video works accompanied by a series of writings folding together lived experience and fictitious narratives; a solitary town plagued by motion sickness, an arboreal kitchen, swimming and sleeping. Collaboration here is undertaken with constant conversation between the artists and an immersion in research and film making processes.
