Opened Friday 28th July at 6pm.
We've got good news, and we've got bad news. The bad news is that the landlord is coming down for a flat inspection at play_station; and the gallery does not have the bare white walls that a gallery should. The good news is that you can help us, and if you do help us you can make a classy addition to your lounge/bedroom/laundry wall. So please come down to inspect our show Flat Inspection.
play_station has been lucky enough to be invited to HOBIENALLE 17, (an artist run festival in Hobart, Tasmania) and we will be taking Christopher Ulutupu (one of the hottest emerging artist in NZ) as our artist representative. We have kindly received artworks from over 60 artists to help us fund raise for this adventure. We are excited to invite you to our opening night and art sale on Friday the 28th, and even more excited to see you leave with your pockets full of artworks leaving for a new home.
We will be open as usual on the Thursday and Friday for you to inspect the flat, and we will reopen at 6pm on the Friday with everything up for grabs. So be sharp. If it's your Mum's birthday on Friday night, bring her down! If you can't make it, we'll also be open on the Saturday taking down what is left (if there is anything left at all).
