To dissipate
Dayle Palfreyman & Isabelle Russell
29/1/20 – 15/2/20

Opened Wednesday 29th January at 5.30pm.

To dissipate considers bodily autonomy in relation to the ways we make contact with environments either enduring or transient. Through material, object and moving image a reinterpretation of the ways tension, physicality, boundaries and proximity can be understood are visited here. To dissipate exists as a chamber for heightened sensory engagement, an opportunity to dislocate from the everyday trajectory which lies just beyond the gallery wall. To dissipate brings together the sculptural and installation practices of both artists to hold a space for renewed relationships to time and space to occur.
